Watch out, the attack pigs are at it again!

Mahmoud Abbas and the Famous Zionist Death Pigs

From a year ago:

Today, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas announced that the Palestinians will seek full UN membership through the UN Security Council. However, few people have picked up on his outrageous claims.

What we want is to end the occupation and tend legitimacy for, occupation and practices is the nightmare that is holding our hearts, as reflected these practices continued raids and arrests and the building of walls and demolition of houses, and the intensification of settlement activities, and attacks the settlers of Bakla trees and burning of mosques and the latest training dogs to attack us and send the wild pigs to wreak land corrupt, three things which the settlers will confront us: When any person Siatdon find it, well its streets and dogs, and pigs for the uprooting of trees, in addition of course to the tanks.
Summary, according to the official Palestinian Authority news agency, Wafa.
Abbas condemned the rise in Israeli settlers’ violence against the Palestinian people and Israel’s training of dogs and wild pigs to attack Palestinians.
One friend writes to me:
I think it's highly relevant that the father of Palestinian statehood believes his country and countrymen are under attack by highly trained pigs. Do the Geneva conventions against an occupying force apply to farm animals? Have the pigs declared a curfew or imposed martial law? Will NATO get involved? These are important questions the international community needs to consider....The Palestinian President has just declared that an army of highly trained pigs is terrorizing Palestinians up and down the countryside.
Indeed. Now let's review this crazy conspiracy a bit. (h/t ElderofZiyon)

In 2007, IMEMC, an anti-Israel site said:
Palestinian sources in Salfit, in the northern part of the West Bank, reported on Thursday that Israeli settlers released boars in Palestinian farmlands near Salfit, in the northern part of the West Bank.

Resident Abdul-Fattah Al Ghazzawi, 43, stated that the settlers released at least twenty boars that attacked his farmland and several surrounding farmlands and ate the plants.
Then, Ma'an News picked up on the theory.
A herd of wild boars on Tuesday attacked the cleaning workers of Salfit municipality while they were emptying a garbage truck.

The driver of the garbage truck, 'Umran Abu 'Umar, said "while I was emptying the garbage in the early morning, a group of boars attacked the workers who had to use the truck as a shield and kill one of the boars."

The wild boars are being released by Israeli settlers in order to destroy the plants and crops of Palestinians.
I must say their accompanying photo is both disgusting and odd.

The pigs returned in 2008
Herds of wild pigs dumped in the outskirts of the West Bank city of Salfit by residents of the nearby Ariel Israeli settlement, are preventing civilians from leaving their homes in the evening, for fear of being attacked.

Eyewitnesses from the Al-Freiz neighborhood near the settlement said that in the evening after the sunset prayer the pigs attack gardens.
Oh, but there was much more in 2008.
Settlers from the Ariel settlement have dumped wild pigs on Thursday in 'Ein Al-Qabileh neighborhood south of Salfit where they smashed the farmers' plants.

Farmer Mohammad Faleh 'Omran said that the pigs destroyed his tomato seedlings, ruined the earth and trampled on his plants.

Farmer Mahmoud Hassan said that the pigs smashed his apple shrubs and his field at night.

He added that the farmers have killed three pigs among the large herds released by the settlers.
As ElderofZiyon noted at the time:
Yes, those Zionists have bred pigs that can distinguish between Arab and Jewish crops. They spend years raising these huge herds of pigs specifically to dump them in Arab villages when they reach just the right amount of maturity. They drive over to the Arab neighborhoods in trucks and dump them there, knowing implanting them with embedded microchips they will leave the village and make their way to Arab farms and cause damage far less than the value of the pigs themselves.
In 2009 we had this wonderful story.
Palestinian farmers in the Farkha village in Salfit were again complaining of the presence of wild pigs in the northern West Bank, which they said continue to ravage residential and agricultural areas.

On Saturday, the head of the Union of Agricultural Workers in Salfit, Khalil I'mran, said the boars "don't attack nearby illegal settlements because they have security fences, whereas Palestinian farmlands are destroyed without compensation."

Several farmers complained that the boars destroyed lands in the Al-Matwi area of the village, damaging plants there and terrifying locals. Residents have also been attacked, with some sustaining serious injuries.

I'mran appealed to human rights organizations to document the attacks, which he blamed on Israeli policies.
Israellycool noted:
Israeli policies? Perhaps the pig’s natural habitat was disrupted by the creation of smuggling tunnels in Gaza, needed due to Israel limiting goods allowed into the Gaza Strip. Or perhaps it’s the pig’s way of releasing all that pent-up rage caused by Israel imposing age restrictions on Muslim worshippers allowed to go to the Temple Mount.

Notice also I’mran’s complaint that the pigs don’t attack Jewish “settlements” because they have security fences.

Security fences required due to the palestinian policy of employing terrorism to achieve their goals.
Why let a good conspiracy theory die, as in 2010 it returned.
Pigs from settlers from the settlement of "Ariel" continued their attacks on the rights of farms and houses in Salfit and surrounding villages.

Witnesses said that a swine herd consisting of twenty pigs attacked the farming communities, breaking down peach and apricot trees...

Witnesses said the pigs made scary sounds and also attacked a field of wheat belonging to farmers Imran Ahmed Khalil Masri and Abu Dar....

The farmers expressed their indignation at the repeated attacks of pigs and have shown that attempts to eliminate them and get rid of them have failed dismally.

Farmer Abu Amer blamed the occupation, saying that they deliberate disseminate pigs for the sabotage and destruction of land, which is then easily stolen by the occupation authorities to establish more settlements.
But if that is not recent enough, the claim was made just 5 days ago!
Farmers say Israeli settlers unleashed pigs overnight Saturday to destroy their land in Salfit in the northern West Bank.

Farmers told Ma'an that the pigs destroyed a fence and broke branches of fig trees. They said they were afraid to remain on their land and appealed for help to protect their property.
Can you take Abbas seriously after knowing that it was this conspiracy theory that he presented to the world as he announced his plans to lead the Palestinians to the UN in their bid for full membership?
